Nominate a Heritage Tree today!
Anyone from the public can nominate Heritage Trees and submissions are
open year-round. However, nominations will close on 30 June every year
and the Heritage Tree Secretariats will consider nominations received after
this date for the following year.
The Nominated trees will be assessed according to the set of qualifying criteria (mentioned below) and will be inspected for their health and structural stability. They will then be brought to the Heritage Tree Panel, comprising of members who have a broad diversity of expertise, who will consider these trees for endorsement.
Before nominating a Heritage Tree, please note these qualifying criteria:

The tree should ideally have a girth (trunk circumference) of more than five (5) metres (dependent on species).

The tree should have botanical, social, historical, cultural and/or aesthetical value (e.g. overall form and structure).
