Know Your Heritage Trees!

Heritage Tree Logo
Did you know that the Heritage Tree Logo features a silhouette of the Tembusu tree? The most iconic specimen can be found on Singapore's $5 Portrait Series banknote, and is also a Heritage Tree!

Oldest Heritage Tree in Singapore
Previously part of a remnant rainforest patch at Cranwell Road, Changi, the Sindora × changiensis (HT 2003-115) is the oldest Heritage Tree in Singapore. This natural hybrid is estimated to be at least 226 years old, through carbon dating!
Singapore "Cherry Blossom"
After a prolonged dry spell followed by heavy rain, the Pink Mempat would shed its leaves and replace its crown with beautiful faintly fragrant light pink flowers following shortly by reddish new leaves!
Heritage Roads
The Heritage Road Scheme conserves selected scenic and significant tree-lined roads of Singapore. In 2006, five roads were gazetted as Heritage Roads.
