The Heritage Tree Scheme turns 25 in 2026! Celebrate with us by participating in a series of activities and stand a chance to win our newly launched Heritage Tree magnetic pins!
The Heritage Tree Scheme marks its 25th anniversary in 2026! Launched in 2001, the scheme was established to recognise and conserve trees of exceptional age, size, or historical and cultural value, and to educate the community on the importance of protecting these specimens as part of Singapore's natural heritage.
We celebrate this milestone with the launch of a series of Heritage Trees magnetic pins, featuring seven tree species that are familiar sights along the streets and parks of Singapore.

In celebration of the Heritage Tree Scheme's 25th Anniversary, we've curated a special series of activities for you to enjoy until the end of the year. Don't miss your chance to win these beautiful magnetic pins by participating in these activities!
Activity 1: DIY Scavenger Hunt 🔎🌳
Participate in a scavenger hunt along our newest DIY Heritage Tree Walking Trail at Pasir Panjang. (opens in new tab) Follow the route and take a selfie or wefie with our Sea Almond, Penaga Laut and Bodhi Tree Heritage Trees! 50 winners with the most creative poses will receive three Heritage Tree magnetic pins!
Activity 2: Heritage Tree Trivia Quiz 🌳🧠
How well do you know your Heritage Trees? Test your knowledge about Heritage Trees through a short online quiz. 100 participants with all correct answers will be randomly selected to win one Heritage Tree pin each!
Activity 3: NParks × HeritageSG: Pasir Panjang Bus Learning Journey 🚌🌳
Hop on a special bus learning journey and discover the fascinating natural and human history of Singapore's southern region. Learn about majestic Heritage Trees, the origin of 'Pasir Panjang', and the dark history of the Battle of Bukit Chandu.

*Points to Note:
1. All entries are to be submitted before 31 December 2026.
2. Each entry must include a valid email address and all questions answered correctly (for Heritage Tree Trivia Quiz) to be eligible for the Heritage Tree magnetic pin(s).
3. Multiple entries with the same email address are allowed but only one prize will be awarded per email address.
4. The design of the magnetic pins will be distributed at random.
5. Winners will be notified by 31 January 2027 with information on collection of the magnetic pin(s).
