Opening of Realigned Lim Chu Kang Road from 8 June 2025

From 8 June 2025, a portion of the road will be decommissioned and closed to facilitate the expansion of Tengah Air Base. The remaining 0.6 km stretch will continue to be a Heritage Road and greenery will be enhanced with native forest and coastal species. Alongside the existing mature Broad-leafed Mahogany trees, the multi-tiered native forest species planting palette will provide shade for road users, enhance ecological connectivity for biodiversity in the area and add to the historical charm.
